Award Winners!
The Wax Studio has won the Gift of the Year Competition 2010 . This is a national award judged by a panel of influencial and experienced buyers working for several presitgious retail outlets.
In 2009 The Wax Studio won the prestigous Highly Commended Award for Excellence at the 2009 British Craft Trade Fair. In competition with over 400 other top British craftmakers, The Wax Studio's products were selected by The Gift Association and guest judges for their excellence as gift products.
Book Coming Soon
Robert Aley and Mindy Chillery have now completed the first draft of their new book entitled 'Candlemaking for Profit'. The publishers, Practical Action Publications, will launch the book at the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2010. This book is not just another 'how to' of candlemaking techniques, but is a practical guide for those who are serious about starting a viable candle business.
